Recently, the first SDU "Leica · Cai Zhi Cup" metallographic skill competition and the trial of 10th National College Students' metallographic skill competition were successfully held in the comprehensive experimental building of Xinglongshan campus.

The competition deepened the engineering students' understanding of material microstructure, improved the students' metallographic preparation experiment operation skills and metallographic map analysis level, and promoted the innovation and integration of students' theory and practice under the background of new engineering.

After each group of contestants completes the competition schedule, the expert group will evaluate according to the standards of the national metallographic competition, and finally select 5 first prizes, 8 second prizes, 9 third prizes and several Excellence Awards.
