Overview

Tong Gao, Male, PhD, Born in 1988.

My research focuses on the field of Al and Mg alloys, including: 1) designing new alloys with high strength, ductility or physical properties; 2) using TEM and APT to characterize the precipitates in Al and Mg alloys; 3) strengthening mechanism of nano-particles reinforced Al and Mg composites.

I have published 59 papers in the journal including Materials & Design, Materialia, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, Journal of Alloys and Compounds, Materials Science and Engineering: A, CrystEngComm etc. I have been invited as the reviewer for the journals such as Scripta Materialia, Journal of Materials Science & Technologyand Journal of Alloys and Compounds etc.
