School of Materials Science and Engineering Hosts the Shandong University‑University of Adelaide Young Scholars’ Symposium on Functional Materials

On July 13, 2026, the Shandong University‑University of Adelaide Young Scholars’ Symposium on Functional Materials was successfully held in Meeting Room 916, Main Building, Qianfoshan Campus of Shandong University. Professor Zhou Chuanjian, Dean of the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Shandong University, attended the event and delivered an opening address. Professor Wang Fenglong from the school served as the symposium convenor and chairperson. Research Fellows Tian Wenjie and Zhang Huayang from the University of Adelaide, together with young experts including Professor Hu Cheng and Professor Wang Rutao of Shandong University, took part in the conference and presented academic reports.
