On the afternoon of October 8, the School of Materials Science and Engineering convened its 2026 Autumn Semester All-Faculty-and-Staff Meeting in the third-floor lecture hall of the Innovation Building, Qianfoshan Campus. Attendees conducted a full review of phased outcomes, mapped out key tasks for the new semester, consolidated consensus for collective advancement, and drove the School’s various undertakings toward high-quality development and upgraded performance.

      Chaired by Professor Zhou Chuanjian, Dean of the School, the meeting featured a well-rounded agenda with clear priorities and a strong guiding orientation. It included multiple segments: recognition for faculty with 30 years of teaching service, introduction and exchange for newly recruited faculty members, work reviews and task arrangements by school leadership, and a special thematic briefing.
