Overview

Prof. Hui Li received his Ph.D. degree in Shandong University at 1999. Following postdoctoral positions at the Nanjing University and Trento university in Italy. Up to now, he had published 160 papers and 8 book chapters. Dr. Li is a recipient of the Taishan scholars (2013), Experts with outstanding contributions in Shandong province(2013), Shandong Outstanding Youth Fund (2008,first session), Education Ministry's New Century Excellent Talents (2005), He is Member of China Foundry Society, Member of Chinese Chemical Materials Society.

Work/Research Experiences

He had worked at the Ocean University of China in 2004 as a professor in the school of Information Science and Engineering. Since 2007, He joined Shandong University as a professor at School of Materials Science and Engneering in 2007.

Research Interests

His research including the liquid structure of materials,solidification of liquid, surface and interface of materials, wetting and anti-wetting, nanowires and nanosheet, nanoelectronics, nanomechanics, energy materials,computational materials.


Research Projects

He presided over a number of national scientific research projects.

Awards

He received Natural Science Award from Ministry of Education (2009), and the Shandong Natural Science Award (2013).
